Product Introduction
The Caterpillar D9R bulldozer is the first model in the series to adopt a "high drive sprocket" configuration. The drive sprocket is installed at a higher position on the vehicle body, and the overall appearance of the track has also become a triangle.
In addition, the new chassis also introduces a modular design concept, which allows for easy removal of the transmission from the rear during maintenance by simply removing the tracks and pulling out the drive sprocket. The D9, with a power of 460 horsepower (340 kilowatts), is the largest and heaviest model in the series, weighing nearly 50 tons.
The D9R with a power of 405 horsepower (302 kW) replaces the D9N. Equipped with a low emission Caterpillar new Cat C18 ACERT inline six cylinder diesel engine.
